Buck Dance

I wanted to clarify the word "Buck Dancing" when I hear some people that have been using the term the wrong way.  When I first heard the word buck dancing. I am thinking "well that's the name of a dance isn't it? People ten to call some kind of stupid names, because they're differ with their points. I don't know why people tend to call someone names for their own opinion. It is just straight up stupid. So why do it? Why even make fun of people like that?

this is the video but careful it's a lot of profanity

Now I have done some research my self and look up the term "buck dancing" I've seen some examples of buck dancing and it's more like Tap dancing or Clog dancing (as they call it). It's like a folk dance that is created Among African American During Slavery. Then it was associated in North America with the blues. It was a reference to solo Dancers (Usually the Man). now some other example I found was Clog Dance, which I might get to. this was the source I got from NCpedia. Just click on the word and it's right there. Another Source I found was interesting. It's like Tap dancing. During the following decade. the styles of dancing came together. the main ingredient that came along was buck dancing. Now they were also saying that it was similar to, but older than Clog Dancing. Soft shoe Dancing is  more relaxed, graceful dance, the soft soled  shoes were used. They were made in Vaudeville. Buck and wing dancing was done in Wooden sole Shoes. It like a flashy, quick dance that combines with the Irish.

Should I keep going? What I'm saying is when you use words like the word that racist people used, think about what you're saying, and more importantly think about what they really mean. Buck dancing is not a name. it's the different styles of  dancing. You are calling some a name of a dance that was made in the south.

Love you all!!!
